WIRELESS CHARGING WITH THE

BMW 530e

GROUND-BREAKING CHARGING TECHNOLOGY

BMW is among the first in automotive history to offer the comfort and ease of wireless charging. Customers simply park over the ground pad and charging begins.

The technology was rolled out in mid-2019 as a Pilot Program in California and won the 2019 Green Car Journal's Green Car Technology of the Year Award. The program currently does not allow new applicants, but you may read below about the details of the program and the technology.
