Ken Sapp has over 25 years of sales leadership experience in the technology, energy & services sector. His deliberate, credible approach to solution selling has led to repeated successes in complex B2B sales environments both domestic and internationally. His progression in executive responsibilities was built on growth in enterprise and multinational customer sales, development of strategic alliances, franchise support, and management of global sales channels at companies such as Oracle, NCR, ABM, FieldCentrix, Sage Software, and Retail Pro International.
Mr. Sapp is the recipient of several honors and awards, including Alliances Manager of the Year at Oracle, Oracle San Francisco Region One Team Sales award; for sales quota achievements and sales management; and contributions in the inaugural Oracle Channel Management program. He has earned a reputation for creating ground-breaking revenue boosting strategies, strategic million+ dollar project wins, and team development across direct and indirect global sales channels.
Uniquely adaptable, Mr. Sapp co-authored a business plan in 2010 to pursue the then-nascent Electric Vehicle “EV” Infrastructure market. With a small team and only a few branch offices to deliver services, Mr. Sapp helped ABM become a national industry leader resulting in major project victories with BMW of North America, ChargePoint, NRG eVgo, Volkswagen Group of America, hundreds of new clients, and over 3,500 EV charging ports installed across the continent. During this period, he became operationally experienced in the challenges and opportunities of deploying technical services through subcontractors for major clients. With the backing and support of Tracy Price, he designed a revolutionary cloud-based software platform that, for the first time, brings internal and external workforces into the same “Service Network”. This platform is a foundational component in the Qmerit solution.
Before spinning off with Qmerit, Mr. Sapp was Sr. Vice President of Channel Development and VP of Energy Solutions at ABM Industries and The Linc Group. He was recruited to the organization in 2010 with a mission to create profitable energy-related partnerships, accelerate the use of energy-efficient technology, and improve sustainability for all types of facilities. His experience in fusing new technology with the energy and building trades started in 2000 when he was recruited from Oracle to help revolutionize the field service industry through the startup wireless software company, FieldCentrix.
During the mid-2000’s Mr. Sapp expanded his executive leadership across multinational sales forces, marketing & corporate strategy. He succeeded in growing business with global clients like Ingersoll-Rand, DHL, Puma, Estee Lauder, Marc Jacobs and Sephora. He helped drive the adoption of localized, multilingual software in China, Korea, Japan, the US and in Europe. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach.
